Accreditation & Licensure
Assistance
We assist organizations preparing for CARF, COA,
and JCAHO accreditation.
Senior consultants have helped many organizations successfully
reach and sustain full accreditation. Services range from sample
policies to full accreditation preparation, accreditation management
and policy implementation.
Accreditation Areas
Accreditation assistance services range from individual policy and procedure
reviews to mock surveys and comprehensive accreditation preparation
in the following areas:
- CARF accreditation - behavioral health services, opioid treatment
programs, child and youth services
- JCAHO accreditation - in all mental health services, addictions
services, child welfare services, foster care, and opioid addiction
treatment programs
- COA accreditation - in most areas, including all children and youth
services, counseling, mental health treatment, substance abuse treatment,
case management, foster care, and more.
Facility/Program Licensure Areas
Our licensure services range from individual policy and procedure reviews
to mock surveys and comprehensive licensure preparation. We are able
to assist facilities in any state with the licensure process.
Operations Manuals, Policies and Procedures Development
We have developed policies, procedures, and forms for providers and managers
of care in every modality and intensity level in the mental health,
substance abuse treatment, children and youth, and juvenile corrections
fields. This includes documentation and protocols for:
- Psychiatric hospitals
- Inpatient psychiatric units
- Residential treatment centers
- Juvenile corrections programs
- Substance abuse treatment programs
- Opioid treatment programs
- Community mental health centers
- Outpatient clinics, partial hospital programs, intensive outpatient
services
- Homeless Programs
- Foster care and adoption, including therapeutic foster care and
children's wraparound mental health treatment
- Community-based services, drop in centers, consumer employment programs
- Central intake, referral and access centers
- Case management services
When helping an organization prepare for accreditation
we use a friendly question and answer process, informal email communication,
phone conversations, and/or on-site meetings. This way the organization
ends up with policies that make sense, are a good fit, and can usually
be designed to work within existing resources (e.g. staff, technology).
Plus, we're always available to answer questions, suggest alternatives,
and listen to the issues.
